セバスチャンヘルクナーは1981年、ドイツバートメルゲントハイムで生まれ、彼はオッフェンバッハ・アム・マイン造形大学でデザインを学びました。
2006年に自身のスタジオを設立し、ドイツデザイン賞やEDIDA賞など数多くの賞を受賞しています。
